We are here in Calif . . . we arrived on July 1st. Our first stop: Sacramento to visit his big brother, Dwight, and his wife, Nancy. Then on California Day 2, we visited our friends, Dale and Pat Burgess. We are now at the Monterey Bay Beach Resort. It is beautiful here! It is cool - too cool to swim, but the sun is shining brightly out over the Bay. We have reservations for dinner tonight at the Resort Cafe, where we will have a view of the Bay as the July 4th fireworks explode over the Pacific.
